Daily Star published an article about McFly working with Taio Cruz and Dallas Austin for their upcoming album.

Here’s Danny talking about the McFly massacre…

“We’ve got the material and are building up the McFly massacre.

“The album’s an absolute killer. It’s got a Prince and Michael Jackson influence.”

Danny and bandmates, singer Tom Fletcher, drummer Harry Judd, both 24, and bassist Dougie Poynter, 22, are creating the album with BRIT-nominated Taio Cruz, 26, and US super producer Dallas Austin, 39.

Danny added: “Taio’s a really cool guy. We’ve written tracks with him and we’re now trying to get him to produce one. It was awesome working with Dallas as he’s a bit of a party boy – he thinks he’s our fifth member.”

He’s coming over to the UK to produce four or five of the songs.

It’s the end of the road of our Danny Jones on Popstar to Operastar.
But, as Danny said: I’ve learnt a lot and now I’m off on holiday!

Tom also tweeted after Danny voted out:

Ah well, he did brilliantly and thanks to everyone who voted over the past few weeks. Opera is over. Now it’s mcfly time!!!!!

Does McFly time sound great to you? Cause it certainly sounds great to us.

Here’s the video of his performance:

Here’s excerpt of an article from RTE:

“Meat Loaf’s a lovely guy. He always comes and talks to me.”

“It’d be amazing to work with him – how cool would that be?”

“Meat, can I be on your new album please?”

Speaking about working on his own on the show, he said: “I could never be a solo artist, it’s more like work when you’re on your own.”

Danny manages to answer some questions in the middle of his hectic activities: opera, McFLY new album, and his dogs.

Jude Law is swoon. He walks past girls and they’re like…phwoar. I didn’t know what swoon meant at first.

We’ll only get naked if I get time to go to the gym before the tour. The boys have been working out without me while I’ve been doing the opera. I need to catch up – I’ve lost my six-pack!

It’s just like Star Wars episode 3. Will Danny make it to episode 6? I honestly don’t know.
Last night, we saw Danny battling his nerves singing the well-known Time To Say Goodbye. He was on the bottom 2!I know it’s pretty hard to believe. Fortunately for us, all four judges refused to say goodbye to Danny. Thus, we’re going to see him for another week.

In the meantime, enjoy some screencaps we made for you. Even made some screencaps of his lyrics’ cheat sheet. Click on the picture below to see the album.

On other news, #VoteDanny made it into trending topics in UK, even made it to #1.

The Sun reported that McFly is on the final stage to sign deal with Universal.

POP-ROCK pups McFLY made much of leaving their major label home 18 months ago to set up their own record company.

The quartet sunk hundreds of thousands of pounds of their own money into Super Records and their album Radio:ACTIVE saw them find success in Australia and South America.

Now they’re in the final stages of signing a deal with Universal, the parent company of their former Island records stable, which will see the global giant help them distribute and promote their product overseas.

Meanwhile TOM, DANNY, DOUGIE and HARRY have roped in a shock producer for their latest disc. Instead of the rock folk they’ve collaborated with in the past, they’ve been working with R&B producer DALLAS AUSTIN.

Austin has previously worked with MICHAEL JACKSON, PINK and TLC.

What a weird hook-up.

My thought. This is just my opinion and nothing is official until they announced it. That article said that McFly signing deal to see the global giant help them distribute and promote their product overseas. It doesn’t mean the end of Super Records. As far as I know, many artists in small/indie labels sign distribution deals. But even if they do, I’m sure they’re doing what’s best for the fans. We know that McFly album and DVD are kind of hard to get outside UK. Signing deal with Universal will help overseas fans to get their music. That’s my thought.
