Star Girl (Live) in Space
As promised, NASA played Star Girl during the tweetup.
At first, it was just about 10 seconds of the song and it came out of nowhere (actually, NASA has promised it will air on 11.49 EDT and I’m pretty sure it did).
Then, at the end of the tweetup, they play the whole song.

Thanks @mcflynews and @HKMcFlyFans for the link.
Edit: Here’s a better quality video: click – credit: soummomento and @tommcfly for tweeting it.
Later, NASA will upload the video to NASA Television Youtube Channel
Also, @FizzRocks tweet that it was actually near Star Girl 3rd birthday. The song was released on October 23rd 2006!
Danny also tweet about this to his sister:
Dannymcfly @VickyJones1984 haha we just got played in space classic
and then went on to thank NASA
Dannymcfly @NASA thank you for playing our song in space it’s definatly one if the coolest things thats happened since being in the band… Amazing!
and Jason Perry

And Tom (after stop shaking and crying? – (:) tweet this:
tommcfly Thanks and well done to all our fans who tweeted #stargirlinspace. We have the most awesome and powerful fans on and off this planet!
Let’s all tweet NASA and thank them for playing Star Girl in space.
Also, keep Star Girl trending on twitter. It was currently 3rd (5.35 PM BST). – SCREENCAP
Also, let’s try and get #stargirlinspace trending.
This is a great achievement and the FACT is that McFly fans play a very important role, in making #stargirlinspace comes true, let alone we made NASA people actually listen to the song.
Other people could be sarcastic or say things like “Why McFly? Why not other band?”
Well, because we fight for it and we asked for it.
This might sound a little too overdramatic for some of you, but we should be proud of being McFly fans and today is just an example of the power of McFly fans. (:
Well done guys
