For those of you who can’t make it, or just want to re-live the experience, all throughout the tour we’ll be letting the guys loose with the cameras for 30 backstage videos brought straight from the band themselves – one for each date of the tour.

Tour Documentary
As well as this we’ll be filming a full documentary that will follow the guys all the way from the planing stages through rehearsals, through to the all the backstage fun and the shows themselves!

Early Access
Annual and Annual Plus subscribers get early access at each tour date. Most of the venues have standing floors so that means you get first chance to be in the front!

Tom and Dougie’s episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire aired last night. They raised funds for Izzy Johnston’s charity, Eyes Alight, as well as WWF.

I couldn’t find the part where they were in the actual show, but here’s a behind the scenes clip.

Four new dates have been added to McFly’s UK Tour early next year. The newly added tour dates are:

• Birmingham Academy Thu 19 April
• London Hammersmith Apollo Fri 20 April
• Manchester Apollo Sat 21 April

Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, December 21st, but presale for Super City subscribers will start on Monday, December 19th. As usual, you will receive (and some might have received) the presale code via email.

Dear visitors (we truly hope you’ll still visit this site),
We’ve been out of town for the past 8 days or so, which is why we haven’t posted any news/updates.

Anyway, as you might have known, McFly performed at Jolly Day Out at Hampton Court on August 28th.
The crew from both Flecking Records and Heatworld were there and they posted some reviews, photos, and news.

On other news, Heatworld also posted an article from their interview with McFly. In the interview, Danny talked a bit about their upcoming album.

So, now that they have some free time, what are the boys planning to do next? Write their new album, that’s what. “We’re going away to do it,” Danny tells us. “And this time I think it’s just going to be us.” On their last album Above The Noise, McFly collaborated with Taio Cruz and wrote tracks with Dallas Austin, but this time it sounds as if they’re keeping things closer to home.

Okay, is anyone else excited about this? Because we surely are.

And to get you pumped before the show (hopefully), here’s an excerpt from interview where Harry talked about the gig.

“I can’t imagine being in a band where people don’t get on,” said Harry. “We all chill out together before shows and go and meet the fans.

“The most important thing for us is being able to have a career doing something we enjoy and that’s a lot of fun.

“For the fans, it’s about knowing us and our personalities, and that doubles their enjoyment of the music.”

Even during tours, he said, they never seemed to get in each others’ way too much – “but we have got quite a big tour bus so we can get away from each other if we have to,” he added.

After having a bit of a summer break, McFly are ready to hit the stage again. They have two shows today, Towneley Park (supposedly 45 minutes set) and Doncaster Racecourse (90 minutes set). Tomorrow, they will headline Summer Sundae Weekender.

Also, as a bonus (err, or more like our job since we’re running a fansite and all), here’s a snippet from Mr. Judd interview where he talked about the Doncaster Racecourse gig.

“There’s often a good chunk of hardcore fans, but what I enjoy about these gigs is there’s often a lot of people who wouldn’t necessarily come and see a McFly concert. They go away, nine times out of 10, having enjoyed themselves.

“We always try to put on a good show. I think that’s where we excel. Mums and dads take their kids and end up enjoying it themselves. We’re confident in our abilities as a live band so we enjoy these kind of gigs.”
