Congratulations to Tom and Giovanna who got married yesterday. (:
It seems that Tom made everyone cried with his speech. Also, Carrie (Tom’s sister), Antony Brant, and the lads (from McFly I guess?) sang at the wedding.

Happy New Year All!

Hope that 2012 has been good to everyone.
Tom and Dougie’s episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire aired last night. They raised funds for Izzy Johnston’s charity, Eyes Alight, as well as WWF.

I couldn’t find the part where they were in the actual show, but here’s a behind the scenes clip.

The McFly boys have been quite busy lately, attending one award show after another.

Harry and Aliona Vilani was dancing at Wembley last night. What the Judges said about their dance, eh?

Harry Judd and Aliona – another great audience favourite, particularly when there was mention of a shirtless display, Harry and Aliona geared up for the samba to Elton John’s I’m Still Standing, despite Harry’s concern for his lack of hips. Judge Len called it “full-on” although Bruno considered Harry “over-dressed for the occasion”.

Last but not least, not really a new news, whatsoever, pretty sure you guys already knew it on some point. Well, if you heard one of the song ‘I Want’ from One Direction and thought the music is quite familiar, that’s because Tom Fletcher is the one writing it. He tweets about it sometimes ago.

Frustrated Judd and Happy Fletcher. Such a contrast feelings, but it do happened at McFLY.

Adding the struggling of his injured feet, Harry said he also finding it is quite a frustrating situation for him.

He said:

“I can’t stress how hard it is. And frustrating it is.
“Generally I consider myself quite patient but there’s times already where my patience is being really tested.”

“You get to a new point in the dance and you think, okay we can move on – it will be just one tiny step and you’ll think that’s easy.
“It will take half an hour to even come close to getting it, because you’ll move and you’ve got to have a straight leg and your arm will be back and the next thing you’re in a position where it feels impossible to even stand up.”

In another news, our dearest Tom Fletcher and his fiancée, Giovanna Falcone, just having one of their best day in life (other than the coming of, wait for it..Tom’s Marty McFLY shoe). Tom and Gi just made the official engagement party with their close friends and families.

Huzzah for Tom and Gi. We are happy for you two And, also, Good Luck for Harry.

Today, Tom finally revealed one of his secret projects. He had been recording a song for 2012 Olympic mascot with his sister, Carrie, and West Leigh Junior School Choir.
The song-called On A Rainbow-was actually released on September 9th, but apparently no one told them about it. Ha.

Anyway, we have actually posted about possible Olympic song on February.

According to Bucksherald.co.uk, Harry Judd has voiced his support to keep Jardines bowling alley open.

MCFLY have added some star power to the campaign to save Jardines bowling alley.

Drummer Harry Judd said he regularly uses the bowling alley in Aylesbury with his girlfriend’s brother Rupert.
Rupert, 33, suffered brain damage in a car crash aged 18.

“Rupert uses Jardines every week, it’s a big part of his life and something he really loves it,” said Harry.
“A lot of people from the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust use it.
“I back the campaign to keep Jardines open 100 per cent.”
A planning application has been submitted to turn Jardines into a shop. A Bucks Herald petition against the plans attracted more than 1,000 signatures.

You might remember reading Tom’s tweet about him taping for The Cube. Well, Tom’s episode on The Cube will air this Saturday June 11 at 8.40pm on ITV. He participated to help raises fund for The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT). You might have known that Izzy teamed up with BIRT to create Eyes Alight, a charity to raise over £100,000 which will be used (by BIRT) to pay for those special extras for people who are benefiting from its brain injury services.

McFly’s Tom Fletcher raises money for BIRT on ITV’s the Cube

Leading brain injury charity, The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) has been informed that McFly front man Tom Fletcher will appear this Saturday June 11 at 8.40pm on ITV’s, celebrity version of The Cube and has pledged to raise money for BIRT. Any funds raised will go directly towards their newly launched ‘Eyes Alight’ appeal. Hosted by Philip Schofield, the game show challenges celebrities to raise money for their chosen charities, by attempting often daunting and difficult tasks.

BIRT teamed up with Izzy Johnston, Escala violinist and girlfriend of McFly’s Harry Judd; to create the Eyes Alight appeal. The charity hopes to raise over £100,000 which BIRT will use to pay for those special extras for people who are benefitting from its brain injury services. This could be anything from going to see a favourite football team play, to enjoying a trip to the theatre or ballet or going to see a favourite musician/celebrity. It’s the special things that will give something to look forward to and will say ‘keep going you can do this’ whilst are following BIRT’s neuro-rehabilitation programmes.

BIRT, currently celebrating 20 years of excellence in brain injury rehabilitation, offers services throughout the UK, to over 550 service users each year. Its aim is to help people regain the skills lost as a result of brain injury – whether caused by road accident, assault, stroke or illness. The Trust’s clinical expertise, combined with excellent facilities and a dedication to care, gives each individual the best possible chance of rehabilitation following an acquired brain injury. Lynn Turley, Service Director of BIRT, said:

‘It goes without saying that BIRT is utterly thrilled that Tom will be raising money for BIRT on the Cube, we can’t wait to watch this Saturday to find out how well he does, we’re all rooting for him and anything he does will be of enormous benefit to BIRT and the Eyes Alight campaign’

Rupert Johnston, Izzy’s brother currently lives at BIRT’s specialist centre Kent House in Aylesbury, was the inspiration behind the appeal. Rupert and the Johnstons’ lives were turned upside down after Rupert was involved in a road accident and sustained life-changing brain injuries.
