Whoops, it seems that we unofficially went on hiatus. Apologies for that.

The main purpose of this post was actually to make it official, McFly United will be in semi-hiatus mode for a while. We’re quite busy at the moment, with PiKiYo busy juggling school and work and I have work also. On another note, we still love McFly and it looks like they’re going to do McBusted for a while.

Now, don’t get us wrong. We’re cool with McBusted and we like James and Matt, but right now we just don’t have the time to update regularly. However, there are plenty of McFly fansites doing that, and I think it’s amazing if they do.

Having said that, we’ll continue to post news (McBusted and McFly) every once in a while. I’ll try to make ‘master post’ every other week to summarize what’s they’ve been up to.

Alright, enough about the site.

McBusted, as I’m sure you’ve known, went on tour earlier this summer, and their TourPlay will hit Vue cinemas this October 28. You can watch the trailer here.

They’re currently doing Radio Tour. They visited Wave 105 on Monday and there are some photos on facebook.
Today, they’ll be in BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw at around 8:10 am to play Call or Delete and maybe possibly Air Guitar will get its first play on Radio 1.

Speaking of Air Guitar, it’s the title of McBusted’s smashing (did I just say smashing?) first single. Release date is 23 November, but you can pre-order it now on iTunes.
For now, you can go and watch the lyric video here. Go ahead, you know you want to. Don’t forget to come back here though. (-;

McBusted will also be in ITV’s Keep It In The Family, due to air November 2 at 7.00pm.

Harry and I were lucky enough to visit @keechhospices at the weekend. We met so many beautiful children & families, a truly special place. Oliver is a family friend's little boy who has been fighting cancer for the last year, a true hero and a very bright star xx

Picture from: Izzy’s instagram / @Keechhospices.

Last week, Harry and Izzy took time to visit Keech Hospice, a hospice providing free and specialist care for people with life-limiting conditions and support to their family.

Harry made the visit with his wife Izzy Johnston, and the pair spent lots of time talking to families and children.
Following the visit, the musician said: “A very good friend of mine’s son, Oliver was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of one. As soon as he started coming to Keech I would hear about how wonderful it is so I though it would be great to visit and hopefully put some smiles on faces.

You can read more about Keech Hospice and find some more pictures from Harry visit on their facebook page, twitter, and if you’d like to find out further about the Hospice, feel free to visit their official site.

Apparently, McFly has been busy doing interviews to promote Love is On The Radio (while also doing other stuff…), and we have been so busy listening to Love is On The Radio on repeat that we have just found these today.

First one was from EntertainmentWise. They posted a short video interview with McFly where the lads talking about going McBusted, writing with Niall, Tom being a father (while on tour), and Dougie’s jungle king memory.

Sugarscape posted their videos in several parts:

And if you live in UK, you can enter their competition to win the LIOTR rollerskates signed by Dougie himself. More info here (make sure you read the rules, terms and condition before entering).

And lastly, Digital Spy has posted a DS Session video of McFly performing Love is On The Radio.

They also interviewed McFly where the guys talk about being an independent band, and chat about their “dream” musical. Tom also re-confirmed that the new album is scheduled to be released on February next year.
