McFly United
UK, November 2013

Apparently, McFly has been busy doing interviews to promote Love is On The Radio (while also doing other stuff…), and we have been so busy listening to Love is On The Radio on repeat that we have just found these today.

First one was from EntertainmentWise. They posted a short video interview with McFly where the lads talking about going McBusted, writing with Niall, Tom being a father (while on tour), and Dougie’s jungle king memory.

Sugarscape posted their videos in several parts:

And if you live in UK, you can enter their competition to win the LIOTR rollerskates signed by Dougie himself. More info here (make sure you read the rules, terms and condition before entering).

And lastly, Digital Spy has posted a DS Session video of McFly performing Love is On The Radio.

They also interviewed McFly where the guys talk about being an independent band, and chat about their “dream” musical. Tom also re-confirmed that the new album is scheduled to be released on February next year.

Ahead of the Fusion Festival, Coventry Telegraph interviewed Danny and asked him about being a veteran and all.

In this interview, Danny told us about how he felt that 10 years is just the first chapter and how he and Jason Perry are producing McFly’s upcoming album, plus how he reacted to people (still) asking whether McFly wrote their own stuff.

“I do believe that we have underachieved, in terms of the early days, or even now, in how some people still don’t believe that we write our own stuff. People still ask me. It’s madness! But it doesn’t matter. We’ve got such a great fan base, and they’ve kept us going. Now, there’s nothing better for me than when there’s all four of us in the studio, making new music, and getting excited about showing it to people.”

He also talked about writing and producing for another artists and how it made him feel like a veteran.
You can read the interview on the Country Telegraph website; I provided the link at the top of this post.
