The Transformation Trust – a children’s charity which funds after-school activities in secondary schools – has launched an online poll to see which acts should play at its second Birthday Bash next year.

Absolute Song of The Decade

Absolute Radio is embarking on a mighty mission to find your Song of the Decade. They’ve got every track that’s appeared in the Top 75 of the Official UK Chart since the turn of the millennium which includes every McFly single ever released. Already you have been voting like there is no tomorrow and McFly are high in the top 10 of most voted artists with 16 songs. To vote for your favourite McFly track that you would like to see as song of the decade go to http://www.songofthedecade.com/

So, what’s the deal?

Absolute Radio is on mission to find Song of The Decade. They’ve got 75 tracks on Official UK Chart from year 2009.

The voting open on the Website at 8am on Monday, 19 October 2009 (GMT) and shall close at 8am on Friday, 4 December 2009 (GMT). You must register to be eligible to vote for the Song of the Decade. Also, you can vote as many songs as you like.

But, a single song could only receive one vote from any individual or IP Address. The winner of the Song of the Decade shall be announced on-air at Friday 11 December.

How to vote

Voting for your Song of the Decade is as easy as 1,2,3…

Discover: Search for a song title, artist name or year using the search box. You will then be presented with a list of search results.
Vote: Once you have clicked on a song you would like to vote for, look for the blue box, select an option from the dropdown menu and then click “vote for this song”. The vote will be stored in your “my votes” page.
Share: Every vote counts… Share your Song of the Decade with your mates, to make sure it gets the recognition it deserves in our Song of the Decade chart.

Forget about their loss in MTV Los Premios couple days ago already, cause the boys got themselves nominated in another award.

Capricho, a Brasil magazine, is doing their annually award show, and this year McFLY got a few kicks on it. Capricho Awards 2009 nominates the boys into several categories, like Banda Internacional, Melhor Show, and Cantor Internacional (Danny Jones).
